Description
Create this fabulous mondo style bag that is super cool. You can pack for a whole weekend, and so easy to make! Mondo unique assembly – mondo smart and mondo fun! Great bag for taking quilts to the guild for show-and-tell or weekend travel or use it as a diaper bag!
This kit contains instructions and Quiltsmart printed interfacing panels to make 1 Mondo Bag. Perfectly matched seams, easy construction, roomy, comfortable bag using Quiltsmart grid interfacing technique. Bag bottom is about 10in square with 17in tall sides. Kit does not include fabric or fusible fleece. Use your existing stash of fabrics, alternatively jelly roll strips, charm pack squares and fat quarters can also be used.
Yardage requirements:
Outer Squares and 4 Handles
(use a variety of fabrics)
18-20 – 2 1/2″ strips at least 40″ wide
OR
48 – 5″ squares (charm pack) plus 4 – 2 1/2 strips for handles
OR
10 fat quarters – 18″ x 20/22″
Bag Lining
1 1/4 yard
Interfacing – Fusible Fleece
1 1/4 yard (recommend Soft and Stable or Bosal for Structure)
