Puffin Star – Quilt Kit

There’s just something about a puffin that makes us swoon!

Puffins are just fantastic and this quilt takes the biscuit.

This quilt is traditionally pieced. The pattern is laid out in a way that you can also create the large puffin block (15” x 15” finished) and small puffin block (8” x 8” finished) individually for smaller projects or different quilt layouts. Instructions and images are included for creating the blocks facing in both directions.

Made in Canada by Art East Quilting Co. and uses the Free Spirit Polar Fabric Collection

Fabric: This pattern contains easy to follow, step by step, fully illustrated colour instructions, materials lists, and colour/fabric recommendations. A background fabric cutting guide layout is also included to make the most of your fabric while cutting for either the small or large quilt.

Difficulty: Advanced beginner (skill level 2) – small pieces, diagonal piecing and a few points to match. Free spirit provides a substitution chart using their collection.
